Kenny Hotopp’s Early Times: A Soulful Journey Through Memory, Love, and Life

Kenny Hotopp has always had a knack for storytelling that lingers long after the song ends. With the release of his evocative new EP, Early Times, Hotopp invites listeners on a five-track journey that is at once deeply personal and universally resonant, a tapestry of Bluegrass, R&B, and Blues stitched together with warmth, honesty, and lyrical nuance.

From the first notes of Early Times, it’s clear that Hotopp is drawing on the full palette of human emotion. “Will Go On” opens the EP with an uplifting camaraderie that feels like a shared toast among friends, while “Pull Me Through” explores emotional resilience, capturing the quiet courage required to navigate life’s trials. On "Forever This Time", Hotopp ponders the enduring nature of love, delivering each line with contemplative sincerity.

These are stories I’ve lived or witnessed," Hotopp shares of the new EP. "But I leave space in the lyrics for you to find your own meaning, your own moments. Some are fun, a few are serious. But every song came from a real place and I think people will feel that”
